A Little Heart Ache

She came to take me away,
I guess there was nothing left to say.
I said goodbye and walked away.
No more time to handle,
Anymore heart ache.

She said I’m justified,
To leave you all alone.
I said you are so blind.
I’m never on my own.
And so she tried,
To lead me astray.

We walked into the night.
Covered by the black.
A light grew inside of me.
And darkness tried to hide.
She ran away with its shade.
Only her touch would I miss,
I would come to find.
That, that would fade in time.

She came to take me away,
I guess there was nothing left to say.

Anymore heart ache.

She came to take me away,
But all I heard was what you had to say.
She tried to lead me astray.
I found true love,
When I found what you gave.
I gained and was saved.
All at the price of a little heart ache.
